This is the young member of a family-owned butcher shop in Manhattan’s Chinatown who became an internet sensation when his Reddit plea for help feeding neighbors \u2013 especially old people \u2013 went viral. America’s reporting on COVID centered around China being the bad guy, which trends to loop all Asian Americans as “others” and “not really American.” Chinese businesses tanked and hate crimes shot up.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
