I was wondering if there are any free programs to help enhance my value in the world for and getting a certificate or more training in the HVAC industry. Im an out of work 54yr old male that has been in the Facilities Management industry for many many years, but most employers are looking for a certificate and im really struggling to land a job. Hi John, sorry to hear you’re struggling to get work. Have you checked with your local One Stop office to see if they can get you into a training program which is state funded. If that is not an option, there may also be loans to pay for a certificate program. Just be careful when evaluating schools and make sure to avoid those with predatory practices.
