The University at Albany Jewish Experience was founded in Fall 2006 by Rabbis Chananya Rosenblum and Dov Kroopnick. Our purpose is to provide Jewish students seeking to expand their Jewish horizons with education in the basics of Jewish religion and culture, and to open channels to those wishing to experience the world of Jewish observance first hand.
Stressing the importance of questions and the value of deep interpersonal relationships, Rabbi C and Rabbi Dov, as they are affectionately known on campus, bring their passion for Judaism to the students of UAlbany.
With programs both on and off campus, UAlbanyJX offers opportunities for any student interested in exploring his or her Jewish heritage to know Judaism on a deeper level.
