TV Host Ibrahim Issa slams Arabs for claiming ISIS is not Muslim: “What else are they?”

In his November 16 2015 show, Egyptian journalist Ibrahim Issa criticizes the Arabic community for circulating the myth that ISIS “has nothing to do with Islam … What are we supposed to call them,” he asks, “Buddhists?”

Issa also scoffs at the Arabic-circulated conspiracy theory that Western intelligence agencies are behind the France attack. “Why?” he demands, “Why? Why would they murder … people of their own culture … in order to have an excuse to attack the terrorists? Attacking terrorists requires no justification, by the way.” read more

Syrian refugee Jack AR (Ahmad al Rashid) posted these words of thanks, hope and homesickness in the Facebook group Calais – People to People Solidarity – Action from UK. It’s quite a statement:

This is my new home in England and, I have to tell you, it has taken me completely by surprise. I had heard and read so much about how the British people were so unwelcoming to migrants and asylum seekers and want to close the borders and even bomb the boats carrying migrants. But my experience has shown me that the ones who care and want to help far outnumber the ones who don’t. I have met such kindness from so many strangers. read more

The man who supplied the false evidence that Bush used to push America into war with Iraq, has become late: Ahmed Chalabi. A New York Magazine article tells the story of how his lies together with the ambitions of New York Times reporter Judith Miller, catapulted the Weapons of Mass Destruction myth into national prominence and helped GW Bush build his case to start the Iraq war. A war which effected the transfer of so much wealth from public coffers into close family friend VP Dick Cheney’s Halliburton company, that it seems entirely plausible that Bush’s hunger to push America into war was motivated by desire for personal gain. read more

Reactions begin to emerge about increase in Palestinian violence against Jews

In Israel, Jewish families and children are being stabbed in hate crimes. Yesterday, almost-13 year old Naor Shalev ben Rut was stabbed several times and now fights to retain his hold on life. Yet instead of call for an end to Arab violence, the UN’s head has called for Israel to leave Arabs alone. The UN is famous for its discrimination against Israel but this is right over the top and seems very like incitement. Major media as usual, has been largely silent on the violence except to criticize Israel for taking steps to protect or stop the knifers but now this might be changing. read more

Disturbing: Google is promoting hatred of Jews by skewing search results

I was searching for a graphic depicting the fundamental unfairness of bashing Israel for defending itself against Arab attacks and increasing, global anti-semitism. But Google wouldn’t let me find any of those images: it just let me find images of Israelis unfairly attacking Arabs.

I don’t believe that the poor Arab, ugly Israel propaganda promoted by Big Media is the real truth underlying today’s Middle East conflict. But it’s quite apparent that this is what Google wants people to believe. By skewing search results to feed anti-Israel sentiment, Google is practicing fundamental unfairness and injustice. Ramos is a champion of truth and real reporting, not a disrupter

Anyone who thinks of criticizing Univision’s Jorge Ramos for confronting Donald Trump on August 25, should know what Ramos experienced with Trump before the confrontation … should also understand why Ramos felt it was important for him, as one of the US Latino community’s most notable leaders, to get Trump’s immigration policy out in the open and on record … and should definitely understand the sorry state into which United States journalism has fallen in recent decades. Those who do, will appreciate Ramos for taking a stand in defense of real reporting and will applaud his bravery and service to the public. read more

Tianjin warehouse blasts kill dozens, injure 100s in a mile+ radius

2 massive blasts apparently measuring 2.3, then 2.9, in magnitude on the earthquake scale, hit Tianjin a few hours ago at 11:30 pm Wednesday (US Time). Apparently, they originated in a port warehouse where explosive materials were stored and the blasts traveled through city sewers to wreak damage in a wide radius.
