NY Times digital access is being made free to all highschoolers thru Sept 2021

Staying connected to the news just got a little easier. With so many students needing to continue learning at home due to the coronavirus, the New York Times has decided to offer free digital access to all high school students and teachers through September 2021. This statement explains the thinking behind their offer:

The mission of The New York Times — to seek the truth and help people understand the world — is critically important in this moment of upheaval. And as students and teachers head into an unprecedented school year, it’s essential that they have access to information that helps them understand what’s happening.

Teachers simply provide the Times with a list of students and their emails, and they do the rest.
